چکیده

We summarize our research on LION switches exploiting wavelength routing in arrayed waveguide grating routers (AWGRs). We discuss the loopback-buffer, alloptical-NACK and all-optical-TOKEN architectures, presenting their effectiveness in terms of network performance and experimental studies.
